The Hansen Clinic provides supportive primary care for the 60 CCC clients staying at the Banfield shelter. We help clients manage their health, avoid emergency room visits and access primary care.

  • Treatment for addiction, including medication-supported recovery.
  • Help getting prescription refills for chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure and COPD.
  • Connections to ongoing primary care.


We can treat:

  • Skin conditions, including cuts, wounds, bites, rashes and infections.
  • Acute injury or infection.
  • Respiratory illness.
  • Fever.
  • Nausea.
  • Vomiting.
  • Diarrhea.
Pat Buckley, PA-C, ND, WCC (at right) and Treva Drake, BSN, RN (at left), are a tight-knit team supporting chronically ill homeless individuals in better managing their conditions so they can stay healthier and avoid hospitalization.

How to access care

The Hansen Clinic is open only to individuals staying at the Banfield Motel Shelter.

We don’t turn anyone away for lack of insurance or inability to pay. We accept Oregon Health Plan, Medicare, self-pay and some private insurance. Need coverage? We can help you get set up.
