Recycling and Reuse Operations Center (ROC)

Each year, thousands of individuals turn to CCC for support with housing, health, and employment, many arriving with few possessions. At the same time, there’s a clear need to donate usable clothing and household items rather than simply discarding them. That’s where the Recycling and Reuse Operations Center (ROC) comes in—it serves as CCC’s hub for processing donated and abandoned property, ensuring items are reused by CCC clients and other nonprofits or recycled properly when necessary.

Commitment to Climate Action

In 2024, the ROC sorted and cleaned over 21,254 pounds of household items—primarily clothing—and distributed 22,509 pounds, diverting them from landfills and providing them to clients in need. The ROC helps CCC achieve a triple bottom line with financial, environmental and social benefits.

Access for CCC Clients 

For CCC clients seeking access to ROC resources, please note that only housing clients are eligible. Eligible clients can obtain a voucher from their RSC or another housing staff member.

While we appreciate in-kind donations, our storage space is limited. If you’d like to donate to the ROC, please contact ROC Supervisor Teiana Brown at teiana.brown@ccconcern.org to confirm whether we can accept your items and to schedule a drop-off.
