The Richard L. Harris Building (also known as the “8×8”) is a 12-story alcohol- and drug-free community building located above CCC’s Old Town Clinic in the downtown Portland Pearl District. There are both single-room occupancy and studio units.

  • In-person: Drop off at the CCC Housing Office, 523 NW Everett St., Portland, OR 97209.

Note: CCC strongly encourages applicants to submit pre-application forms by email so there is a electronic record and we can provide a receipt. CCC will not accept faxed applications or those submitted directly at Richard L. Harris Building.

Eligibility and Screening

  • A security deposit is not required at the Richard L. Harris Building.
  • The building is an alcohol- and drug-free community.

Units at the Richard L. Harris Building are income and rent restricted based on a percentage of Median Family Income (%MFI) for Multnomah County. Households must earn annual income below the corresponding %MFI to be eligible for the unit.
