The Section 8 waitlist for the Biltmore Hotel closed on Wednesday, 10/6/2021 at 5:00pm after 100 applications were received. Applications for fair market (non-subsidized) units taken on continual basis.
The Biltmore Hotel is a three-story apartment building located in the Old Town neighborhood of downtown Portland. All units are single-room occupancy with shared bathroom facilities. Most units are rent subsidized through project-based Section 8, with residents paying a portion of the rent.
Starting 8:00am PDT on Tuesday, September 21st, 2021, CC will be accepting pre-applications for Section 8 project-based subsidy Single-Room Occupancy (shared bathroom) units. To be considered for the waitlist, submit your complete and signed Biltmore Hotel Section 8 SRO Pre-Application to firstname.lastname@example.org once the waitlist is open. Please review Building Criteria and see below for required and optional pre-application materials. The Section 8 waitlist will close when 100 pre-applications are received.
Submitting Your Fair Market (non-subsidized) Pre-Application Materials
You have two options for submitting your pre-application materials:
In-person. Bring your completed and signed pre-application materials to the CCC Housing Office at 523 NW Everett St., Portland OR, 97209. Application intake will be held outside, following physical distancing protocols.
Note: Due to the ongoing pandemic, we strongly encourage applicants to submit pre-application forms by email. CCC will not accept faxed applications or those submitted directly at the Biltmore Hotel.
