CCC and CareOregon maintain a deeply collaborative relationship aimed at supporting underserved communities in Portland. CareOregon has provided critical support for CCC’s street-based outreach teams, enabling them to build trust and connect individuals experiencing homelessness with housing, health care and recovery services. In addition, CareOregon has funded key initiatives like the launch of CCC’s electronic health record system and culturally specific programs such as the Karibu Stabilization Program. Their investment has also helped CCC sustain operations through the pandemic by supporting telehealth access and stabilizing clinic revenue, ensuring continuous care for clients in crisis.
“Our longstanding partnership with Central City Concern reflects a shared commitment to advancing health equity and meeting people where they are—with compassion, dignity, and access to care. Together, we’ve helped strengthen the safety net for some of Portland’s most vulnerable residents.”

About CareOregon
CareOregon is a nonprofit organization providing Medicaid insurance benefits to more than 500,000 Oregonians on the Oregon Health Plan. We support our members through three coordinated care organizations, a Medicare Advantage plan, a tribal care coordination program, a dental care organization and in-home medical care with Housecall Providers. CareOregon members have access to integrated physical, dental and mental health care and substance use treatment.
