Every year, more than 13,000 people find hope and healing with Central City Concern. Our integrated approach provides a solid foundation of support for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness as they stabilize and rebuild their lives.

We can’t meet our mission of ending homelessness in Portland without your help. There are many ways to show your support — choose what’s right for you. Together, we’re creating long-term change for individuals and our community as a whole. Thank you!

Walter’s story

When the NFL career he hoped for didn’t pan out, Walter's partying habits took a dark turn. After years of drug and alcohol use, he finally became sober in time to say goodbye to his dying father. These days, Walter uses his experience to counsel others in recovery at CCC’s Imani Center.
